Rites of Passage

Rites of Passage is a jump and run puzzle game. It was a Games Academy project and is being created with Unity3D using C#. You are the heir to the throne of Atlantis, your father has passed away and it is up to you to save your people. The gods proclaimed that after the death of the king the royal seal would loose its protective energies and the continent would sink into the ocean.  You need to go to the sacred island and imbue the seal with the gods energy. No one including yourself knows what awaits you on the island. Search the island, restore the seal, and save your people. The clock is ticking.

The goal of the game is to manipulate objects to solve puzzles or to build a path. Along your rite of passage you will find new gadgets that build on your powers. 

If playing the web version please be patient. It is over 300mb the webplayer version does take a while to load, also between menus.

  • WASD : Movement
  • Shift : Sprint
  • Space : Jump
  • Left mouse click selects moveable objects goes to hold mode.
  • 1 - Position mode
  • 2 - Scale Mode
  • 3 - Rotation Mode
  • Tab throws object
  • Holding right mouse button will bring up a radial menu for manipulation mode selection.
  • Escape : Pause

Manipulation modes

  • Position: the moveable object will move left/right/up/down with mouse, forward/backwards/left/right with WASD.
  • Rotation: the moveable object will rotate in 45 degree increments use WA SD QE to rotate axes.
  • Scale: the moveable object with the middle mouse scroll.
